With a 6-3/4″ (170mm) diameter and integral handles, it provides improved stability and control over the small base plates provided on compact routers. This attachment is compatible with all compact and trim routers, making it the perfect accessory for your routing applications.

If you purchased a Harbor Freight, Drill Master trim router like I did and you need a compact sub-base that will accept template guide bushings, this is for you. YES, this fits the Drill Master trim router just like it is supposed to. If you are going to use a Milescraft Sign Pro jig, having the ability to use template guide bushings is a must. Having handles on the base is also a good thing for better router control. YES, Milescraft supplied a router baseplate with the Sign Pro jig but I will use that baseplate on another router. My trim router is also used for freehand routing so I needed the handles and the ability to use bushings. I chose the Milescraft compact Sub Base because it fit the needs for this router and it works great. This sub-base will accept the Harbor Freight template guide bushings. I purchased a set of those before I knew that Milescraft also has bushings. At any rate, Milescraft did a great job on this base plate. You can even do mortising with this base plate. Having all this versatility is why I give this Milescraft product 5 stars.
